Although he spent the bulk of his football career in Hong Kong, mentioned the name Tim Bredbury it will definitely raise a few eyebrows among older generation Malaysian football fans. Especially among long-time Selangor faithful, as Bredbury had spent a season with the Red Giants in the early 1990s.

These days, Tim Bredbury is still based in Hong Kong where he is involved in coaching. It was a great opportunity for us to be able to catch up with him and talk about his playing journey from Liverpool to Hong Kong to Malaysia. As you can hear from the conversation, Malaysia still remains close to his heart even after all these years.
