Firstly a Happy New Year 2022 and welcome back to another brand new show.

In our first episode of the year, we would like to bring back a former guest of ours, book author and football writer, Karan Tejwani. You may remember him from episode 19 when we talked to him on his first book, Wings of Change by Karan Tejwani, The Story of Red Bull & Football.

On his latest book, the focus is on Ajax Amsterdam’s revival in the last few years after a somewhat gloomy period since their hey days in the 1990s.

We tried to cover on as many areas as possible including what took place in the new millennium, Johan Cruyff’s return to the club and to where the club it is today.
