It was a game which Malaysia had to win in order to stand a better chance of qualifying for their first AFC Asian Cup in 42 years; and that is exactly what they just did in emphatical style.

Coach Kim Pan-gon devise his players to be ruthless and fearless right from the start, as a result Turkmenistan were punished with two quick goals. Anyway the night was far from over despite having a two goal lead.

Now we look forward to the next game against Bahrain with plenty of optimism as another positive result, would mean that we are edging close in securing a place in next year’s Asian Cup.
