It was almost 6.00pm, the weather was playing trick on us but it was never going to be an excuse of missing the 2022 Malaysia Super League. After all today is the the kick off of the first match day of the season, with several games taking place nation wide.
The one which I choose to attend is arguably the biggest one of the week; the Klang Valley Derby between KL City vs Selangor.
Despite the heavy downpour, the match had to be postponed for at least 45 minutes from its original kick off time (9.00pm).
Right form the kick off it was obvious that this game is going to be a gusty contest from both teams. Neither wanted to be on the losing end after 90 minutes.
In a nutshell, this game had everything you wanted in a classic derby game. Even myself being neutral in this game, I was at the edge of my seat throughout the whole time because you just never know what’s going to be happen.
